Hi people, just come back in from running around! What did I run around for? Well, Who? is the right word. Lemme just say a friend.
Today found me transforming from an office-worker to a Messenger. Well a messenger of Love so I can say i really dont mind.
Got a call yesterday asking me to help send birthday greetings on behalf of my friend to the gal or lady he’s trying to chase. Offered (ain’t i nice?) to buy a gift. so off i went to book a cake and then today I get another call from him to buy a specific book.
Let me not bore u with the details of my search or quest for this book. But I doubt that any bookshop in Lagos has it. Thank God for GSM’s o! I would have wasted more time and money than I did trying to get it. Anyway, after overshooting my break time , i begged for some more time and got 2 different books.
What’s all this about? I wondered when I was coming back to the office on that infamous mode of transportation – OKADA’s why I went through all that trouble for this my friend.
And I can’t think of any other Xcept that he is a FRIEND.
Would u comment on this and tell me what a FRIEND is or rather who u consider to be a friend and Why?

A lot of people see friends (from a selfish point of view)as nice caring, dependable etc. basically because of what those friends ‘do’ for them. I’d rather define a friend as that person who in an inexplicable, magical way, brings out that part of you that lies hidden. All of a sudden the mean, grumpy, selfish you is transformed to a picture of kindness and you mood undergoes an incredible change. I can only truly become a friend to someone if I am able to leave that person (evn if a little bit) better than I met her. Now thats the kind of friendship we shud all aspire to, don’t u think?
