…which I can now look back on and laugh! (heartily too)
Just remembered one of them and decided to think up more & laugh at myself….
- I once helped a friend write love poems for his girlfriend. i really wonder how I came up with what I wrote. He was very grateful & I can only say they served their purpose.
- I must have been 8 or 10 , not more when I danced heartily to Franky!! at a party! My dance steps were hilarious and were a show-stopper! Needless to say I hated that song for years especially when my mum & sister broke into laughter each time we heard it together.
- My sister & I were about 3 years old when we stopped passers by with our dance steps outside a music store (on the streets).—-the things you ‘can’ do when you are a child.
- Taken for our very first ballet lessons, we were asked what animal we wanted to imitate & dance like. Our reply Elephants! Little wonder I’m a hopeless dancer.
- My sister and I used to fight so much that my mum threatened time and time again to take us to the stadium and make some money off our fighting skills. She never carried out her threat
- Not funny but…After my very first computer lesson in primary school, I vowed I would read Computer Science and I did!
The list would have been longer if I had were to add my brother’s foibles or my sister’s. Its more difficult laughing at oneself , Isn’t it?

Ha ha ha
… When I was about 7 years old, someone asked me what I want to be when I grow, and my answer was this: “I want to be an ice-cream seller, that way I cam have as much ice-cream as I want!” Who would have thought I would detest sweet things as an adult
.
Nice one.
