Are you sure?

I see the young man smile from a mile off. Well I see his teeth before I see his face. Am I the object of this smile or another? Looking left, right or behind me to make sure, I begin to very quickly rack my brain cells to help me. Where have I seen this face before? I am too sure I have never met Mr. Smiley face…..

Emm we are now faces apart and Ooooh I am so sure but Mr. Smiley persists. I look again then say somewhat quizzically ‘hello’.(I’m bad with faces so I rack my head once more just in case I am wrong and I do indeed know this person) Aaaaaaaah, do not tell me you’ve forgotten me so soon. Emm, I reply, I am sorry but… Aaaaa aah he butts in ‘ University of Ibadan now!’ Its my turn to smile and I smile each time it happens. ‘Aah I thought as much, I’m not the person you think you know, I’m her twin …’ Surprise, shock , embarrassment(I like watching the varied reactions). Hey! TY. Good to have you back on blogville. You went AWOL. lol

I’m looking forward to meeting Dr. Lamikanra. If you say you’re not identical, I wonder how both of you are often mistaken for each other.

    How’s ‘Lase doing?

    Toyin,
Having met you both together within close proximity of each other, I’ll beg to differ on the “we’re not identical” line.
