Its avoidable! Its not possible to escape it… the sure , sometimes slow gradual decline to that state of being where ones eyesight worsens, ones bones begin to creak, when you are now called madam instead of sisi! lol!
Well maybe am not there yet but these past couple of days have had me worried. My husband is now used to my early morning song when I step out of bed ‘Where are my glasses?’ -started from the day we got married
, I dont add keys to this chorus because I have agreed with my brain and mind to drop them in one particular spot once I step into the house.
On several occassions in the office, I have gone looking for a particular item, pen, cd, sheet of paper far afield only to discover after several minutes and untold anguish (with my mind plotting who the culprit is) that instead of a pilferer, the item is sitting happily on my desk.
This horrible scenario played out on one particular day in the office when I was searching for my car keys (or was it my access card?) anyways, assuming it was my key, I started looking and started getting agitated. Where is my key? where is my key? Has anyone seen my bunch of keys? After a long search and no results, I suddenly stopped and realised I was holding them……….
I couldnt cry so I just laughed. Tell me is this a sign of old age or something else?
