a few short random thoughts!

Governor Fashola is doing very well in my opinion. You know I complain when things are not going well so I am learning to be balanced and appreciate a Governor who is actually a Governor and not one that just bears the title!

Why? Lagos is a cleaner place, more pleasant looking and a million minus one potholes exist! He really is working. There is a lot more to do but I am happy with what he is doing, really! Kudos to him.

Number 2 is a lesson my daughter has taught me:
Lesson learnt – Smiling! Yes I have learnt to smile a lot more. I used to ‘bone’ a lot but in the past one year for no reason and many times for plenty too I have been taught to show my teeth, taught to giggle at nothing and almost anything! Me thinks its better than boning!

Well just 2 short thoughts that I thought to spill out! Looking forward to a lovely weekend.

    I do agree with you Fashola seems to know what the business of governance/government is all about. He’s proved he knows what he’s doing. Government/governance is not a big party where all sorts of political jobbers are called to come and ‘chop’ at the expense of the citizenry.

    Talking about ‘little’ things. The best things in life actually cost almost nothing…Smile and smile more…;-)

    @Seye – thanks for stopping by too. Yes thats my fancy job title! and True…Lagos State should be held up as an example of governance! I wish the same could be said of my state…soon maybe, hopefully!
    @Wale – true and one of the measures of a working governor (to me)is the number of times he DOES not appear on the photo pages with celebrities et al at the latest parties!

    @standtall – yeah he has purpose! its showing.
    @Rayo- yeah the bad roads are truly something….i’ve noticed a few potholes are disappearing and places like Yaba are experiencing a ‘revolution’ GUTTERS are being constructed, i’m sure the roads will follow
    @Oluwadee – no sweat!
    @all – dont you think it would have been nice if he had been elected on a platform of integrity?
